The short version

  • Our apps show ads through Google AdMob and use Google Firebase for analytics, crash reports and related services.
  • Those services collect device-level data such as advertising IDs, IP addresses and usage events.
  • We do not sell your personal information for money. You can limit personalised ads and ask us to delete data.

1What this policy covers

This policy explains how Nexmind (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile apps (the “Apps”) and this website. An App may give you extra information in its store listing or inside the App if a feature handles data in a way not described here.

2Information we handle

  • Collected automatically by the Apps. The software kits built into our Apps collect device and usage information. Sections 3 and 4 list it in detail.
  • Stored on your device. Content, settings and any personal details you record in an App, such as habits or notes, are generally kept on your device, unless the App clearly offers an account or sync feature.
  • Sent by you. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach.

We do not ask for government IDs or payment card numbers. Purchases, where offered, are handled by the App Store or Google Play.

3Advertising: Google AdMob

Our Apps may show ads through Google AdMob, a mobile advertising service provided by Google. The Google Mobile Ads SDK inside an App collects and shares the following automatically, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit using TLS.

DataWhat it includes
IP address and coarse locationYour device’s IP address, which can be used to estimate its general location.
Device and account identifiersOn Android, the advertising ID, app set ID and, if applicable, other identifiers related to signed-in accounts on the device. On iOS, the device’s advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking) or other app- or developer-bounded identifiers.
Product interactionsApp launches, taps and video views.
Advertising dataInformation such as the ads you have seen.
Diagnostics and performanceApp launch time, hang rate, energy use and crash logs.

Google and its advertising partners can use this information to deliver ads, limit how often you see them, measure their results and, where permitted, personalise them. Without personalisation you can still see ads, based on context such as the App you are using and your general location.

Consent and your ad choices

  • EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where the law requires your consent, the App asks for it through a consent message before personalised ads are used.
  • iPhone and iPad. An App asks permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before accessing your device’s advertising identifier. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
  • Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings, usually under Settings › Privacy › Ads.
  • Your Google account. You can manage ad personalisation in Google Ad Settings.

4App services: Google Firebase

Our Apps use Firebase, a set of app development services provided by Google. Not every App uses every service below. The periods shown are those published by Google.

ServiceWhy we use itDataHow long it’s kept
Google Analytics for FirebaseTo see which features are used and where people get stuck.App-instance identifier, mobile advertising identifiers (Android advertising ID, iOS advertising or vendor identifier), first launches, sessions and in-app events, device model, operating system and general geography.2 or 14 months, depending on the Analytics retention setting.
Firebase CrashlyticsTo find and fix crashes.Crashlytics installation UUIDs, Firebase installation IDs, crash traces and, for native crashes, minidump data.90 days. Minidump data is stored only while the crash is processed.
Firebase Performance MonitoringTo keep an App quick to open and smooth to use.Firebase installation IDs, IP addresses (used to map events to countries), session IDs and network URLs without parameters.IP-associated events for 30 days; other performance data for 60 days.
Firebase Remote ConfigTo change settings and roll out features without a new App version.Firebase installation IDs.Until deleted through Firebase’s deletion API, then removed from live and backup systems within 180 days.
Firebase Cloud MessagingTo send push notifications, if you allow them.Firebase installation IDs.Until deleted through Firebase’s deletion API, then removed from live and backup systems within 180 days.
Firebase AuthenticationOnly in an App that offers an account or sign-in.The email address or phone number you sign in with, password, user agent and IP address.IP addresses for a few weeks; the rest until deletion is requested, then removed within 180 days.

For Firebase, Google generally acts as a data processor (a “service provider” under California law) on our behalf, and we act as the data controller. Google Analytics is a separate service with its own terms. Firebase may process and store data anywhere Google or its agents maintain facilities.

5How we use information

  • To run the Apps and keep them working, including fixing crashes and bugs.
  • To understand how features are used, so we can improve them.
  • To show ads and measure how they perform.
  • To protect the Apps and this website against fraud and abuse.
  • To answer your messages and meet legal obligations.

Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on your consent (for example, for personalised ads), our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the Apps, the need to provide what you asked for, and our legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

6Who receives information

We share information only as described here:

  • Google, through AdMob and Firebase, and its advertising partners through AdMob.
  • Cloudflare, which delivers and protects this website.
  • Apple and Google, which run the app stores and handle downloads and purchases.
  • Authorities or other parties, where the law requires it or where needed to protect rights and safety.
  • A successor, if the Apps are reorganised or transferred, with this policy continuing to apply.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some laws, including those of certain US states, treat sharing identifiers for personalised advertising as a “sale” or “sharing”. You can opt out of that use with the ad choices in section 3, or by emailing us.

7International transfers

Our providers operate around the world, so information may be processed outside your country, including in places with different data protection laws. Where the law requires safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, we rely on those offered by our providers.

8How long information is kept

Data collected through Firebase is kept for the periods in section 4. Data collected through AdMob is governed by Google’s policies. We keep emails for as long as we need them to help you and to maintain reasonable records, then delete them. Uninstalling an App stops it collecting anything further, but does not by itself delete data already collected.

9Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain uses; to opt out of targeted advertising; and to complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email nexmindltd.support@gmail.com with the name of the App and your device type. Most data in our Apps is tied to device identifiers rather than names, so we may ask for details that help us locate it. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

10Children

Unless an App’s store listing says otherwise, our Apps are not directed to children under 13, or under the higher minimum age that applies in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email nexmindltd.support@gmail.com and we will delete it.

11Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and limited access to our service accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12This website

This website has no ads and no analytics, and we do not set cookies on it. Fonts and images are served from our own host. Cloudflare delivers the site and processes technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to serve and protect it. It may set a strictly necessary security cookie. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Apps or the law change. The effective date above shows the current version, and where the law requires it we will give further notice or ask for your consent.
